"Dickpic"-case dismissed
§ 184b StGB
Our client was under suspicion of sending pornographic images, specifically "dick pics," on a dating platform. The allegation was based on § 184b of the German Penal Code (StGB), which criminalizes the dissemination of pornographic material.
Through thorough and meticulous examination of the evidence, we were able to convincingly demonstrate that our client was not the actual sender of the images in question.
Following the submission of a comprehensive brief and the presentation of compelling exonerating evidence, the prosecution decided to dismiss the case in accordance with § 170 (2) of the German Code of Criminal Procedure (StPO). This decision confirms that there was no sufficient suspicion against our client.
