Traffic criminal law

Driving without a licence, sect. 21 StVG

Discontinuation under the Juvenile Courts Act obtained

Traffic criminal law

The juvenile client was accused of driving a vehicle without a licence and without authorisation. The file was requested and worked through meticulously. In consultation with the client, a written submission was drafted setting out in detail why discontinuing the proceedings appeared more appropriate in this case than continuing them. The public prosecutor's office followed the argument and finally discontinued the proceedings under sect. 45 of the Jugendgerichtsgesetz (JGG, German Juvenile Courts Act). The client is grateful and happy that he is spared court proceedings with all their burdens and that he continues to have no criminal record.
